Dustin Crawford

Dustin Crawford is a corporate attorney and executive with 15+ years of experience advising founders, executives, and boards on financial and strategic transactions, significant corporate events, and special situations.

His experience spans the full capital markets spectrum, from formation and early-stage financings through public offerings, M&A, and in- and out-of-court restructurings. In addition to his transactional practice, Dustin has extensive experience in public and private corporate governance, having advised on significant corporate events such as board reconstitutions, management transitions, and stockholder activism defense, along with routine governance and executive compensation matters.

Before founding Launch Support, Dustin served in senior legal and executive roles at public and private companies navigating high-stakes situations. He continues to serve as Chief Legal and Administrative Officer of Intrinsic Medicine, a drug development company, where he has led traditional and reverse merger take-public efforts. Previously, he served as SandRidge Energy’s Senior Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary through liability management transactions, Chapter 11 bankruptcy, activism defense against Icahn Enterprises, board reconstitution, and multiple CEO transitions, and in similar roles at Chesapeake Energy during its own activism, board reconstitution, and management transitions. Dustin also has past biglaw experience in the M&A practice at Davis Polk & Wardwell, corporate practice at Hall Estill, and in the finance practice at Bracewell, where he began his career representing lenders and borrowers in complex secured and unsecured debt transactions, often in connection with restructurings and reorganizations.

Before law, Dustin earned a B.S. in Biochemistry, directed a grassroots political campaign, taught English in China, worked in a nuclear engineering lab, and researched solar-powered hydrogen generation. His clients include drug developers, software and AI companies, and consumer hardware manufacturers.

Dustin is an invited presenter and panel coordinator with the ABA Business Law Section and a contributor to the ABA’s model forms publication on public company organizational documents expected in 2027.
